As more nitrosamines and drug samples are analyzed, method accuracy is increasingly recognized as a major analytical challenge in nitrosamine analysis in pharmaceuticals. This presentation highlights a few factors that affect method accuracy, including extraction efficiency and matrix effects. Case studies will be provided. Several ways to improve method accuracy will be discussed.
