Method Development and Validation Group Leader
Q Squared Solutions
Indianapolis, Indiana
Nick Ingram is the method development and validation group leader for regulated work at Q2 Solutions’ bioanalytical lab in Indianapolis, Indiana. After obtaining a chemical engineering degree from Purdue University, Nick joined the pharmaceutical industry as a contractor with Advanced Testing Laboratories in a sample management position. Not long after, he joined what eventually became Q2 Solutions (IQVIA Laboratories) and in the fifteen years since, has held multiple positions in the organization. He began his bioanalytical career as a non-regulated protein binding/fraction unbound in vitro specialist and developed both the in vitro and LC-MS/MS methods for every compound tested. Eventually, he supported bioanalytical method development for all in vitro and in vivo screening assays by forming and overseeing a group specializing in LC-MS/MS support. In 2022, Nick entered the regulated bioanalysis world as a method developer and principal investigator, shortly thereafter becoming the group leader. He continues to serve as a PI in both small and large molecule LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS method development and validation while managing and growing a team of scientists with varying experience levels, expertise, and backgrounds.
