Description: There is increasing need for fast, robust, and sensitive bioanalytical methods for quantitation of oligonucleotide-based therapies in pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) studies. In this talk, we describe advances in an automated microfluidic approach using a disk-based labware with flow-through nanoliter affinity column that speeds up oligo quantitation by performing the immunoassay steps along with detection and data analysis within the microfluidic disk. Data supporting improved assay speed, performance, and flexibility are presented.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the automation of a microfluidic, CD-based hybridization immunoassay for oligo quantitation
Learn about options for fully automated or offline incubation for oligo therapeutic detection
Understand the assay performance and advantages of microfluidic oligonucleotide assays
